How to use and processing criteria
Adjust the pixel size and JPEG quality of the photo to reduce the file size for submission or sharing.
Actual example
Width 4,000px: when selecting up to 1,920px width, it scales down while maintaining the ratio. A target of 500KB attempts adjustment of image quality and shows the actual achieved size.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the compression result always below the target KB?
No. The target can be reached even at lower resolution at the selected size. In that case, check the underflow and reduce the maximum width or increase the target KB value before trying again.
Does the transparent PNG or moving image remain intact?
The result is a white-background static JPG. It is not a tool for preserving transparency, animation, or original metadata. Supports up to 10 photos, 20MB per file, 24 million pixels, total up to 50MB.
