Frequently Asked Questions
Are representative colors a complete list of all exact colors?
Samples with a width of up to 256px are grouped into 16 levels of RGB, and the average color of the top 5·8·12 intervals with high frequency is shown. It is an approximation palette, not a full color list or statistics by original resolution. The sum of the percentages of the selected intervals may not be 100%.
How is the color at a specific position identified?
Expand color selection in the image, then press the image or enter the original coordinates. The top-left is X=0, Y=0. The browser shows the HEX·RGB·transparency of the selected pixels. The color profile and browser processing may differ from the original file’s color definition.
How are transparent images and results stored?
Representative colors exclude pixels with opacity less than 50%. Specific pixels also show opacity. Representative palette provides PNG·JSON and individual HEX copies; photos are not saved or uploaded.
