Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need camera permissions or photo upload?

Select a photo file and process it in the browser. No camera permissions are required; no photos or QR content are uploaded. Supports one JPG·PNG·WEBP file up to 20MB·24 million pixels.

Can you read multiple QR codes or bar codes as well?

Read a QR code from an image. Regular barcodes are not supported. If the image contains multiple QR codes, crop to the desired code. The image is reduced to a maximum of 1,600 px on one side before scanning, so very small codes may need to be cropped beforehand. If the text encoding cannot be fully decoded, the readable portion and full byte sequence in HEX are shown, and no link is opened.

Does the read address and Wi-Fi information apply immediately?

The content is displayed only as text and does not include automatic movement, connection, or contact addition. The http/https URL also requires the user to click the link explicitly; address security is not verified. QR content is not included in result sharing.
