Changing 2 portions to 3 portions is 1.5 times more. 200 g of flour becomes 300 g, 1 egg becomes 1.5, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt becomes 0.75 teaspoon.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it be calculated using a multiplier?
Enter the original quantity as 1 and the target quantity as a desired multiple. The ingredient quantity can be entered as a decimal to three decimal places or as a fraction like 1/2.
Can you convert g to mL?
No. Weight and volume cannot be converted without material density. The entered unit is retained.
Should we increase cooking time and temperature?
The ratio is applied only to the ingredient amount. Do not linearly increase cooking time, temperature, or pan size. Adjust directly for ingredients that cannot be divided.
