Frequently Asked Questions
Is the decreasing order of negative values due to discarding the decimal part?
No. Truncation is in the negative infinity direction, so subtracting 1.2 as an integer gives -2. Rounding up gives -1, and rounding up to the exact midpoint -1.5 gives -1 in this tool.
