Calculation·conversion criteria
Calculate PPI using resolution and diagonal inches.
Input example
1920×1080, 24 inches → approximately 91.79 PPI
The diagonal pixels of a 1920×1080 screen are √(1920²+1080²). Dividing this by diagonal inches gives the pixels per inch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the PPI CSS px size the same?
No. PPI is physical screen density, and CSS px is affected by browser zoom and device pixel ratio. Do not reduce CSS font size by the same ratio when the screen is high-density.
