Calculation method and criteria
Tool that calculates kWh using operating/standby power, time, and directly entered unit rates for cost estimation.
Actual example
If 1,000W appliances are used for 2 hours per day for 30 days with standby power at 0W, it is 60kWh. If 2 appliances at 100W are used for 5 hours per day, 30kWh is added. At a household cost of 200 won/kWh, the total is 90kWh and 18,000 won.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it the same as the actual electricity bill?
Scenario where the input unit is applied uniformly to all kWh. KT progressive rates, base rates, taxes, and discounts are not considered.
Like a refrigerator that turns on and off?
Multiply the actual operating ratio by the daily usage time. The remaining time is calculated as standby power entered. If the average W was measured, do not duplicate the correction with 100% ratio.
How is consumption power different from power volume?
W is consumption power; W × time ÷ 1,000 is kWh power. Multiply by number of devices and usage days, then sum power per appliance.
