Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Mosaic and black masking in privacy protection?

Mosaic retains color and structure, allowing content to be inferred. Sensitive content can be fully covered with black opaque masking and checked directly in the output. Faces, text, or reflections outside the selection are not found or masked automatically.

Can modify the masked area or revert to the original?

On the current screen, you can edit again by deleting regions or clearing all shadows. For saved PNG black shaded regions, black pixels replace original pixels. The original file is kept separately, so make sure you do not share it together.
